The McLeod Country Golf Club is located in the Western suburbs of Brisbane, only 20 minutes from the city centre. We are an 18 hole Championship golf course which has been designed around the creeks of Mount Ommaney to create a course with no two holes alike. Formed in 1968 we are unique in that we are run by a female only Board. The club has a large Clubhouse with a large dedicated function room, the Westlake Room, and a smaller Board room available for function hire. Off street parking is available for up to 170 vehicles.
The Westlake Room has a 180 degree view of the golf course and the surrounding hills of Mount Ommaney and Jindalee. On a clear day Mt Coot-tha is visible in the distance. A long verandah abuts the Westlake room allowing you to get the most from the view and serve pre function drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Our dedicated function room can be used for a wedding from 60 to 170 guests. We are a fully Licensed facility with a dedicated chef for all catering options. Our experienced functions manager will guide you through the booking process and help you with all aspects of your function from start to finish.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony options are available for a garden wedding among the many gardens onsite.
Being on a golf course means you have access to the best photography locations without having to leave your guests, saving on travel time and the expense of car hire.
We also offer room only hire options that particularly suit functions where traditional foods need to be served.
McLeod is an ideal venue for a Corporate function and is a regular host of Corporate
golf functions. Golf days can cater for 144 players using a shot gun start format. Two such starts are possible on the same day.
The club has a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and involvement in the Centenary Community. The membership of the club are active contributors to a variety of charities and host community and charity functions regularly.
