THE HARBOUR VIEW HOTEL, SYDNEY
The Harbour View Hotel is situated on the corner of Cumberland Street and Lower Fort Street in The Rocks, under the southern end of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The first Harbour View Hotel was built in 1843 and demolished to make way for the bridge to be built - it was originally located where the granite pylons now stand.

The hotel has an elegant public bar, with its own grand piano and Bridge memorabilia, two private function rooms, a rooftop cocktail bar, a la carte restaurant and a gaming room. Sydney Harbour, Harbour Bridge and streetscape views of elegant Victorian terraces are seen from most parts of this stylish hotel.

We take our role in preserving the wonderful atmosphere that is our Nations birth place very seriously and you will find as soon as you enter the hotel, you feel the history, memories and most importantly feel welcome. That is our passion and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Function Room Hire
Both our function rooms; The Cap Room and The Bridge Room, are available to hire for a private function from 11am 5pm OR from 6pm-midnight on any day of the week.

A private bar with one of your own bartenders for the duration of your event. Additional staff can be provided at an extra cost.
A separate sound system which allows guests the freedom to listen to in-house msic or bring their own iPod or similar device with a personalised playlist.
A wall mounted TV which can run a slideshow of photos (JPEG files only). using a USB stick or a laptop connection (HDMI or VGA).
A private balcony- both rooms have their own private balcony with views of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour- smoking is permitted on the balconies.
