Catherine Vale is a small boutique vineyard growing 6 grape varieties. Semillon, Chardonnay, Verdelho plus 3 Italian grape varieties originating from the Piedmont region of Italy in the North. This region is highly regarded for its grape production and has the most DOC related wines under production. Barbera is a medium bodied wines with potential to age for 10 years ,Dolcetto is a lighter bodied wine which is an earlier drinking wine and traditionally dry . Arneis known as the "little rascal" was nearly extinct by 1970 but has been revived and often is know as the white Barolo in Italy. a very pleasant wine with a texture about it.

Bocce courts are available and picnic area if you wish to BBQ just bring your food and we supply he BBQ.

Catherine Vale is located in the Broke Fordwich sub region of the Hunter Valley. The property has the most spectacular views of the Valley from the Anderson room .
