Point Cook Cuban Salsa & Bachata Dance Classes at: Point Cook Community Learning Centre 1-21 Cheetham St, Point Cook * Same building as the Point Cook Library Building * Main Room 1 - opposite the Reception Desk as you walk in. EVERY MONDAY (Public Holidays we are closed) * No experience necessary - No partner required - Open to all adult ages * NO BOOKING OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED - JUST TURN UP ON THE NIGHT * Arrive 10 minutes earlier * Bring a bottle of water * NEWLY ADDED 30 MINUTE BASICS SESSION: - A new Salsa Basics session have been added into the Beginner Salsa program, covering timing, movement & body isolation. Learn the main basic steps & turns with slow, easy to follow, break down of steps. MONDAY PROGRAM: * 6.30PM BACHATA (Main class) - Absolute beginner to Improver Level - No experience or partner required * Bachata is the 2nd most popular Latin dance after Salsa ** 7.30PM BEGINNER CUBAN SALSA 1st Session - INTRODUCTION TO SALSA BASICS - Easy to follow, step by step breakdown of the main basics - This helps to give new beginners a much better dance experience, improve coordination & movement before going into the main 8pm part of the lesson. *** 8.00PM - 9.00PM CUBAN SALSA BEGINNER - (Main class) * At this point all students are expected to know their basics (Total Beginner Salsa class time: 1 hr & 30 minutes) **** 9.00PM - 10.00PM CUBAN SALSA / RUEDA DE CASINO INTERMEDIATE (Main class) * Advanced Beginners confident with their basics & turns can do this class. - Rueda De Casino in synchronised dancing in a circle * CLASS COST: $20 per class or $30 for 2 classes or * All classes on the night - only $35 * We accept CASH & Credit Card - Credit card payments have a 1.9% surcharge * Full details on our website
